We offer express worldwide shipping to most  international destinations.

Free shipping is available on orders worth:

  • USA: USD 250+
  • UK: GBP 130+
  • Canada: CAD 240+
  • Australia: AUD 260+
  • European Union: EUR 200+
  • UAE: USD 170+
  • Rest of the World: EUR 200+

If your location is serviceable, shipping options will automatically appear at checkout. 

What are the shipping charges for international orders?

If your order does not qualify for free shipping, shipping charges are calculated automatically at checkout based on:

  • Destination country
  • Package weight & size

There are no hidden charges from our side. 

Which courier partners are used for international delivery?

We ship internationally using trusted global logistics partners such as:

  • FedEx
  • DHL
  • UPS
  • Aramex

The courier is selected automatically for the fastest and safest delivery to your country. 

What are the estimated delivery timelines?

Delivery time includes processing + transit.

Approximate transit times after dispatch:

  • USA & Canada: 5–7 business days
  • UK & UAE: 4–7 business days
  • Singapore: 3–7 business days
  • EU countries: 7–10 business days
  • Australia & New Zealand: 7–12 business days
  • Rest of the World: 8–12 business days

How long does it take to process international orders?
  • Standard processing: 5–7 business days
  • Intricately handcrafted ethnic wear: 8–12 business days
  • Pre-order / made-to-order / custom items: 15–20+ business days
  • “Ready to Ship” products: Dispatch next working day

You’ll receive a confirmation email once your order is shipped.

Do you ship to PO Boxes or military addresses?

Currently, we do not ship internationally to PO Boxes, APO, FPO, or DPO addresses.
Please provide a complete residential or commercial address for smooth delivery.

How can I track my international order?

Once your order is dispatched, You’ll receive an email with the tracking (Airway Bill) number.

You can track your order via:

  • Courier partner’s website
  • My Account → Orders on our website
  • Or by contacting our support team
Who pays customs duties, taxes, and import charges?

For international orders, customs duties, VAT/GST, and import taxes are payable by the customer, as per the destination country’s regulations. 

💡 Couriers may pay these charges on your behalf and collect them from you before or at delivery.

Are there duty-free (de minimis) limits?

Some countries allow duty-free imports up to a certain order value, known as de minimis thresholds:

  • USA: Up to USD 800 (generally duty-free)
  • UK: Customs duty below GBP 135 (VAT may still apply)
  • EU: Customs duty below EUR 150 (VAT applicable)
  • Canada & Australia: Low-value thresholds may apply but vary

⚠️ Important Disclaimer:
Customs regulations and tariffs can change without notice. For example, recent tariff changes affected shipments from India to the USA.

Final duty decisions are always made by the destination country’s customs authority, and Urban Womania has no control over them.

What happens if I refuse to pay customs duties or taxes?

If duties or taxes are not paid and the shipment is refused:

  • The package is returned to India
  • Refunds are processed after deducting return shipping and customs charges incurred
  • If return costs exceed the order value, no refund will be possible
What is the return policy for international orders?
  • Returns or exchanges must be requested within 2 days of delivery
  • Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, with tags intact
  • Requests can be placed via My Account → Orders

📦 Important:
We do not offer reverse pickup for international orders. Customers must arrange and bear: 

  • Return shipping charges
  • Any applicable customs or duties
Can I exchange an international order (e.g., size exchange)?

Yes, exchanges are allowed if:

  • Requested within 2 days of delivery
  • Same design is available in stock

✔️ Replacement will be sent once the original item is received
✔️ Price differences (if any) are adjusted

❌ Custom-stitched or made-to-order items are not exchangeable, unless defective.

What if my order is damaged or incorrect?

We take quality very seriously.

If you receive a damaged or wrong product:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Share a clear unboxing video showing the issue

After verification, we will arrange a replacement or refund, as applicable. In such cases, return shipping and duties are borne by us.

How are refunds processed for international orders?

Once the returned item is received and passes quality inspection, refunds are processed in one of the following ways:

💳 Refund to Store Credit

  • Issued after inspection approval
  • Only standard shipping charges are deducted
  • No additional handling or processing fees
  • Store credit can be used on any future purchase and has no validity limits.

💰 Refund to Original Payment Method

(Credit Card / Stripe / PayPal / ApplePay)

  • A handling & processing fee of 5% of the total purchase value is deducted
  • Standard shipping charges are also deducted
  • Remaining balance is refunded to the original payment method

⏳ Timeline:
Refunds or store credits are processed within 3–7 business days after inspection approval.

❌ No refunds will be issued for:

  • Used, washed, or altered items
  • Minor color or texture variations (due to screen/display differences) 
  • Orders refused due to non-payment of customs duties or taxes

📌 Note: Refunds are initiated only after the returned product is received and successfully inspected at our warehouse.

Can international orders be canceled?
  • Orders can be canceled before processing begins
  • Once shipped, cancellations are treated as returns

What if part of my order is delayed or out of stock?

If an item is delayed or unavailable:

  • We may ship available items separately
  • You’ll be contacted via email with options:
    • Wait for restock
    • Choose an alternative
    • Receive store credit or refund

Important Note on Returns & Exchanges

For all international returns or exchanges, customers are responsible for:

  • Return shipping costs
  • Any customs duties or taxes

👉 Exception: If the item is defective or incorrectly shipped, Urban Womania bears these costs.
